User Manual & Guide

User Manual & Grid Engineering Guide

Step-by-step guide to simulating site grid capacity, dynamic load balancing (DLB), and concurrent EV charging.

AREI / IEC 60364-7-722
1
1. Choose Simulation Mode

Select "Maximize Chargers" (determines max installable charge points), "Required Power" (calculates grid kW needed), or "Performance Simulator" (models live throttled speeds and peak loads).

2
2. Set Grid Connection & Base Building Load

Input total site grid capacity in kW or Amps (1-Phase 230V or 3-Phase 400V) and reserved baseline power for HVAC, lighting, and building facilities.

3
3. Configure EVSE Ratings & Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB)

Select charger nominal kW ratings (3.7 kW to 350 kW), number of charging points, and toggle DLB with your minimum target charge speed threshold.

4
4. Monitor Live Topology & Breaker Headroom

Review the real-time power allocation progress bar, individual charger node states (Optimal, Throttled, or Overloaded), simultaneous kW draw, and breaker safety warnings.

5. Export Engineering & Simulation Report (PDF)

Click "Export Engineering Report (PDF)" at the bottom of the simulation results to generate an accredited PDF report with power charts and site metrics.
